We’re looking for an accomplished and driven graphic/digital designer, who is passionate producing innovative design and creative solutions for our clients. The position will suit an experienced creative who can think strategically, and translate business and market strategy into innovative visual and digital communication solutions.
Working from our fun and relaxed Coffs Harbour studio you’ll be reporting to the Creative Director and Studio Manager, while working closely with all Coast staff to collaborate on design and project management.
Desired skills and expertise:
You are a passionate print/digital designer who is committed to killing it; bringing the latest trends and techniques into your workflow. Aside from having a background in brand design, ideal candidates also have experience in digital, UX or illustration and bring something exciting to the table! We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a creative role, with great communication skills & initiative!
Ideal candidates will:
• Be a self-starter, someone who can work on a number of different projects at the same time whilst not compromising quality
• Have 1+ years experience in a creative studio/agency environment
• Possess an excellent knowledge of design & branding foundations, such as visual hierarchy, brand architecture, colour theory, etc
• Be a wizard in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
• Have a great mind for UX/UI and experience in wireframing & designing (mobile-first) web solutions (Figma experience is a big plus!)
• Have strong communication skills & a genuine passion for helping our clients succeed
• Have effective collaboration skills with the ability to lead workshops and client presentations
• Have a great sense of humour and enjoy collaborating with your fellow Coasties!
Highly regarded:
• Have a general knowledge of photography and experience using video editing/animation software (AfterEffects & PremierePro)
• Have experience using Procreate to create digital illustrations.
