About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate graphic and digital designer/content marketing superstar, who is dedicated to producing innovative creative and building brand exposure for our clients. Initially, this is a part-time position (3 – 5 days per week, depending on the candidate) and will suit a disciplined creative who can think strategically, and translate business and market strategy into innovative visual and digital communication solutions. 
Working from our fun and relaxed Coffs Harbour studio you’ll be reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with all Coast staff to collaborate on design and marketing strategies, and drive change through implementing new practices. In this role you will be also expected to carry out project management and administration tasks. To be successful in the position, you will be 110% prepared to put in the hours and deliver on each project. 
 
Desired skills and expertise:
You are a passionate print/digital designer and content creator who is committed to killing it; meeting your KPIs and bringing the latest trends and techniques into your workflow. Aside from having a background in brand design, you must have experience in digital, UX and marcomms. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a creative agency, with great communication skills & initiative!


Ideal candidates will:


   • Be a self-starter, someone who can work on a number of different projects at the same time whilst not compromising quality
   • Have 2+ years experience in a creative studio/agency environment
   • Possess an excellent knowledge of design & branding foundations, such as visual hierarchy, brand architecture, colour theory, etc
   • Be an accomplished project manager, fostering relationships within your pool of allocated clients/accounts
   • Be a wizard in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) 
   • Have a general knowledge of photography and experience using video editing/animation software (AfterEffects & PremierePro)
   • Have a great mind for UX/UI and experience in wireframing & designing (mobile-first) web solutions (Figma experience is a big plus!)
   • Have strong communication skills & a genuine passion for helping our clients succeed
   • Have effective collaboration skills with the ability to lead workshops and client presentations
   • Possess a strong understanding and passion for content marketing, and be able to schedule social content, create EDMs (using Mailchimp or Klaviyo) & write copy with ease
   • Have a great sense of humour and enjoy collaborating with your fellow Coasties!
