For the fourth consecutive year, Coast has chosen to express our gratitude and love for our incredible clients and community in a special way. Instead of traditional gifts, we’ve decided to redirect our entire Christmas budget towards a cause close to our hearts – headspace Coffs Harbour.
headspace is a remarkable non-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting young people during critical moments in their lives. They provide crucial assistance to help them navigate challenges and enhance their ability to manage their mental health for a brighter future.
A Christmas gift donation.
So, rather than distribute a small gift to each of our clients, we connected with headspace in Coffs Harbour and donated our Christmas gifting budget towards giving young people hope and the promise of a better tomorrow. This gift is not just from us, but is also from you; our extraordinary clients, whose faith in Coast has allowed us the means to channel hope and to support Coffs Harbour youth in crisis.

How will this help?
This particular donation will be used to develop group programs and events aimed at:
• Promoting the importance for young people to seek help for mental illness
• Breaking down the stigma associated with mental health
• Making sure local youths know there is help available.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through centres in 124 communities across Australia, including our home town of Coffs Harbour NSW. They offer online and phone counselling services, vocational services, and are a positive presence in schools. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health) alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
