Get to know Luke, our digital jack of all trades developer and content creator superstar.
1. How do you contribute at Coast?
Web, video, animation you name it! I’m a jack of all (most) design trades, and at Coast I jump in to help out on projects at a variety of stages, where I can add the most value and support the team.
2. What is your favourite thing about working with the Coast crew?
The crew itself of course, but more importantly the high level of professionalism mixed with a relaxed vibe that makes Coast such a great agency to work for and with.
3. How are you creative or innovative when working with Coast?
I make the most of my experience as a designer to add a unique perspective to problem solving and creative opportunities. I’m always on the look out for the chance to add value and a new perspective, learn a new technique or approach to a design or business challenge.
4. Describe the vibe at Coast and why you chose to collaborate with the crew there
There are no passengers at Coast, everyone brings their A-game to work and are truely inspired by and interested in the work they do. This shines through, from client interactions, innovative solutions and successful project deliveries. All while feeling like a bunch of mates working towards a shared goal, it’s a tricky formula to get right and I’m stoked to be able to contribute to that.
5. What unique flavour do you bring to the team?
I’d like to be able to say ‘rainbow swirl’ but I’m probably closer to vanilla! Dependable and a staple that you need in the freezer that adds that level of sophistication to your favourite desert (project).
6. What is your fav piece of clothing or sentimental item?
A surfboard I shaped myself and surfed for a few years before destroying it climbing out of the keyhole at Red Bluff in WA.
7. What is your vice when faced with a challenge?
Getting to the beach, when I‘d have meetings Melbourne, I’d race home and straight to the surf to wash the city off as fast as possible (not such an issue now, living on the Coffs Coast)
8. What would your proud Mum (or Dad) say about you?
“No natural talent” my Mum would say, in the nicest possible way. That I had to work hard for everything that I’m any good at, which she would also tell you are quiet a few things…
9. Choose 3 words that best describe you
Resourceful, synergistic, empathetic.
