Led by our Creative Director, Jena, Coast meticulously planned the design strategy, reviewing previous publications to ensure the 2025 guide was elevated and fresh. This process included a detailed pagination style format and layout strategy to ensure the final magazine flowed seamlessly. This helped Coast develop the new visual direction for the 2025 Visitor Guide that felt upgraded, authentic, and reflective of the region’s coastal character. Through strategic use of colour, typography, and layout, we evolved the established brand style into something clean and crisp, giving it a refreshing look that stands out from previous years.
The design process also included a custom-illustrated, pull-out gatefold map to be used as a handy pocket travel guide, designed by Coast designer Emily, offering readers a functional guide to explore the area.
