Laura is Coast’s secret weapon; a passionate, commercially-minded marketing professional, who has worked with both Australian and international luxury and lifestyle brands such as Taylors Wines, Stocklands and Carnival (UK).

With over 12 years’ experience in Customer Acquisition & Retention, Digital Strategy, Brand Strategy, Integrated Campaigns, Direct Marketing, Project Management, Website Development, SEM, SEO, Social Media, Press, TV & Radio, laura particularly loves the opportunities digital brings to marketing.

 

Laura puts the customer at the heart of everything she does, not just her clients, but their customers too. She is deeply passionate about equipping our clients with strategies and tools to grow, retain and engage with their customers through digital. From website search results on Google, to paid advertising and content, Laura is excited about the power in great stories and how content strategy can shape and change behaviour to achieve outstanding return on investment. 

 

Continually creating and innovating for all our clients, her role is both a creative and analytical process. From coming up with content ideas for blogs, to designing landing page layouts for optimum conversion and writing ad copy to display in Google, Laura creates strategies for our customers to achieve their goals via digital marketing. 

Her Brittish accent complements a ‘keep calm and carry on’ approach to getting the job done, meaning that no matter what curve ball is thrown at her, she will maintain her professionalism; meeting her deadlines with absolutely no fuss and feathers.

1. What is your favourite thing about working at Coast?

The shared passion to do the best for our clients. A cohesive team all working to the same goal that we all really believe in.

2. Describe the vibe at Coast and why you chose to work there

Dynamic, fresh, happy creative vibe. The direction of Coast and the people working there is what made me want to be a part of the team.

3. What unique flavour you bring to the team?

A British one…..with experience as a marketer in the travel, real estate, retail and wine industries. I bring the customer focus.

4. If you were a character from a famous film or book, who would you be and why?

An explorer, I’m an adventurer at heart, I love exploring new places and experiencing new cultures. I guess that’s what brought me across the world and now to Coffs Harbour.

5. What is your fav piece of clothing?

A dress I had as a child which I made into a cushion in high school, I now gave it to my son. Reminds me of free spirited, summer holidays, without a care in the world.

6. What is your vice when faced with a challenge?

Chocolate… there is nothing that a dairy milk or a Cadburys creme egg couldn’t fix. I love a challenge and I love chocolate

7. What would your proud Mum say about you?

I’m free-spirited, independent, caring and thoughtful. (I asked her)
